In my experience, as a women entrepreneur and as a women's business coach, women want MORE! They want to be taken seriously! They want to have control! They want to do it their way! They have an idea, a concept, a plan and they want to take a risk----but will anyone believe in them to go for it?

They have the education, the intelligence and the passion to start a business that could set the world on fire! Or maybe just get them out of their own way---change their daily, routine world of taking care of everyone else. What if? What if they just go for it? Will people shun them, tell them they are selfish? Oh God, not that, selfish - selfish to believe that they have what it takes to be successful with a plan that makes them happy and makes a difference in the world? If you relate with this description you know what I'm talking about - I'm talking about YOU!

Yes, YOU, are an educated, empowered woman with the desire to change the world as you know it! You have friends that believe in you - maybe? Parents that tell you, you can be anything you want -- BUT, they still want grandchildren etc. BUT, more importantly, they want you to be happy. Happy for you - is doing it your way!

Remember, or maybe you are too young, when Frank Sinatra sang " I did it my way", well, that's my generation. Doing it my way it's what got me up in the morning and kept me going until bed. Today, women have more role models, although not enough, to allow them to dream big! Launching a business means taking a risk. Not just with your money -- or preferably with other people's money - but also with your time and energy -- and ego! Yes, women have egos too!

It is a myth to believe that only male entrepreneurs have egos, women have them too! We have been brought up to believe that we can be anything we choose. Yes, that means Hillary Clinton could be (or could have been) President -- but I digress. Women entrepreneurs are the leaders around the world -- and the aforementioned Secretary of State has made this a priority for the last four years around the world.

So, the question might be, "what is your excuse for not starting or not succeeding in your business?

My guess is is that you haven't asked for help! Am I right? So, why not? Are you afraid someone will tell you your dream isn't feasible? Well, that is a piece of information you need.

Is it that you aren't willing to learn how to be successful? Is it that you won't promote yourself? Is it that you have negative tapes in your head that won't let you get ahead? Whatever it is NOW IS THE TIME TO TAKE ACTION to move ahead.
