During my years in publishing, I was bombarded by press releases of the first woman chosen to be this and the first woman to be nominated for that and the first woman to be hired for whatever.... and every time I received one I published it with vigor and enthusiasm as firsts for women are important for all women!

In 2013, the talk of getting a seat at the table for young women in business is often considered absurd! Yet, a week doesn't go by that an article isn't written, or a book isn't published, that cries out for a modern woman's right to have a seat at the table! So, what does this really mean!
